Moodle is an Open Source Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It has become very popular among educators around the world as a tool for creating online dynamic web sites for their students. To work, it needs to be installed on a web server somewhere, either on one of your own computers or one at a web hosting company.

Steps for Embedding Media on Moodle.
1. Get the code for the media you wish to embed. Be sure to copy the entire code.
2. Sign into Moodle and Turn editing on.
3. Click on the "Add a Resource" drop down menu. Click on "Compose a Web Page."
4. Name your page (must) and write a short summary (optional).
5. Under "Compose a web page" write the instructions for using the embedded media. Include links to rubrics, assignments, graphic organizers, or list information about what you expect students to do or learn from the embedded media.
6. On the editing ribbon, click on the < > symbol, which is the second from last symbol on the right. This is the toggle symbol for HTML source code.
7. Right click and paste the code you copied for your embedded media.
